Tasca is an iPhone app for saving links into pouches, with reminders, price watches and pouches you can share with one other person. This page explains what Tasca stores, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible – Tasca is made by Aleksandar Shibilev in Denmark, who is responsible for your data. Contact: support@gettasca.com.
What Tasca stores
- Your sign-in. When you sign in with Apple, Tasca keeps the identifier Apple gives it for you and, if you share it, your first name. Tasca never asks for or stores your email address.
- What you save. The links you save, the title, image link and price taken from each link's page, your notes, reminders and price watches, and your pouches' names, colours and order.
- Shared pouches. If you share a pouch, the other person sees everything in it and your first name, and can change it as you can.
- Your phones. A notification token for each phone you're signed in on, so reminders and price drops reach you, and a sign-in session for each phone.
Tasca has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and never sells your data or shares it for marketing. This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from other sites.
How Tasca uses it – Only to run the app for you: to show your pouches on your phones, and on the other person's for a shared pouch; to read a saved link's page for its title, image and price; to check the price of items you watch, once a night; and to send you reminders and price-drop notifications. The legal basis is providing the service you asked for (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
Who handles it for Tasca
- Convex – stores the data and runs the app's server, in the EU.
- Apple – Sign in with Apple and notifications.
- Cloudflare – this website and email to support@gettasca.com.
How long it's kept – Until you delete it. Archived items stay until you delete their pouch. Delivered notifications are deleted after 30 days. When you delete your account, everything that is yours is deleted at once, except what you added to a pouch you shared: that stays with the other person, no longer linked to an account.
Deleting your account – In Tasca: Home → the account button → Delete account. You confirm with Apple, and Tasca disconnects itself from your Apple ID. Removing Tasca under Sign in with Apple in your iPhone's Settings deletes your account too.
Your rights – You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used: email support@gettasca.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
Children – Tasca isn't meant for children under 13.
Changes – If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
